Our family-run Hotel Zipser is centrally located right behind Vienna’s town hall, in the heart of the Josefstadt, one of the city’s nicest districts.

Area information
The Hotel Zipser is located close to many famous Viennese sights, such as the Imperial Palace (Hofburg) with the world-famous Spanish Riding School, the old university, the Town Hall, the Museum Quarter and the Museums of Fine Arts and of Natural History. You can easily reach all these sites on foot.
If you are fond of Vienna’s culture you will especially enjoy the proximity of our Hotel Zipser to the Opera, the „Volkstheater“, the „Burgtheater“ and the "Theater in der Josefstadt”.

Your will find the following public transportation in the direct vicinity: underground line U2, tram lines J, 5, 1, 2, 33, bus line 13A.
By public transport:
Western Train Station:
Arriving by train at "Westbahnhof" you take the U3 underground line to "Volkstheater". Then change to the U2 line and get off at the station called "Rathaus". From there you only walk a few minutes until you arrive at he hotel.
Southern Train Station:
Arriving by train at "Suedbahnhof", you take the bus 13A and get off at the "Piaristengasse" stop, only a few minutes away from the hotel.
Vienna International Airport:
Take the shuttle bus to one of the train stations, then continue as above.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 26.00 per night and person for extra beds.
